Fish Killer Story

I killed someone’s beta fish last week.  :(  I went to clean out the bowl, and it died with the new water.  It was warm tap water that I brought from home.  I had left it out all nite to get it to room temperature, but it still died!  Now I’m a fish killer.

Gas Station Story

The same day I killed the fish, I had to get gas for the car.  As I was waiting for the car to fill up, I see the sales person walk outside the gas station building and light up a cigarette and start smoking.  ;x

This one isn’t as funny as some of the signs I’ve seen on the internet.  But since I didn’t grow up here, I thought it was interesting.  My camera phone isn’t the greatest, but it took a big picture!

We had this 2 hour meeting for the whole company at 11:30 AM.  Our meeting was webinar and telephone.  The presenter was actually somewhere else.It actually turned out 2 and a half with no break.  So what do you do when you sit in the back with a comfortable chair, a blanket, house slippers on, and no lights on?  Fall asleep.  zzzzzz…

I was awake after 30 minutes.  I didn’t feel like missing everything.  But I still felt like I did. I also brought hot apple cider and a clipboard full of paper and a pen.  Drawing time!

Here’s a subway story that I figured I should eventually post.  But it happened a few years ago.

I walk into subway and order a 1 foot meatball sandwich.  The guy that took my order has been working at that place for a while and I’ve seen him before.  Amazingly he said, “We don’t have 1 foot.  We have 6 inch and 12 inch.”  >.>  For some odd reason, I never saw him there again.

:(  Tragic.  But what makes it bad is thousands of people are dying from earthquakes, and all they get is one dinky article with a kill count number.  That’s kind of like the time North Korea was sending missiles, yet news articles were focused on Michael Jackson’s death.  I don’t understand it.   How can one person have more headlines than all those people that are dying or suffering?  I don’t understand how that makes world news.
